The Chatham County, GA Launches its Public Records Portal


As a part of the County's commitment to transparency, making public records accessible to the community is an important priority. This portal will improve our processes and further support our efforts in providing timely information to the public.


Members of the public can now make online public records requests as well as search our public records archives. More records will be added over time as part of this project.

Per Government Code O.C.G.A. § 50-18-72, certain records of a personal nature which may be part of an application shall not be disclosed where the City has determined that the public interest in disclosure is outweighed by the public interest in nondisclosure.
